The Office of the President has today announced the appointment of Rev. Dr. Daniel Kallee as the Chief Executive Officer of the Home Care Agency effective from the 1st March, 2023.

The Home Care Agency is set up under the Home Care Agency Act (2022) which came into effect on 1st January, 2023. The aim of the Agency is to ensure sustainable professionalised home care services.  The Agency’s main functions will include the management of the Home Care Scheme; monitoring of the level of care provided, and; provision of training for home care givers.

As an ordained Anglican priest, Rev. Dr. Kallee has worked in different Anglican diocese since 1985.  Between 1999 and 2008 Rev. Dr. Kallee also held several positions in the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports.  Rev.Dr. Kallee has a doctoral degree in (church) Ministry.

At the time of his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Home care Agency, Rev. Dr. Kallee was involved in consultancy work.
