President Wavel Ramkalawan chaired an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet today, Monday 12th September at which the Medium Term Expenditure Strategy for 2023 to 2025 was discussed. This meeting will be followed by a series of meetings by Ministries, Departments and Agencies with the Cabinet to defend their budget. A final consideration and final approval of the budget proposal will be taken by Cabinet before the end of September 2022.
