Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Japan based in Seychelles bids farewell

The President of the Republic, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan received the outgoing Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Japan based here in Seychelles, H.E Ambassador Makoto Tominaga for a farewell call at State House yesterday morning.

The President welcomed Ambassador Tominaga and expressed the country’s sincere gratitude for his efforts in elevating the relationship between Seychelles and Japan during his tenure. President Ramkalawan said that the Government of Seychelles looks forward to continuing the excellent relationship with his or her successor.

Speaking to the press after the meeting, Ambassador Tominaga said that he has served his tenure here in Seychelles for more than three years. He underlined that he has delivered his duties with enthusiasm and commitment to enhance the already good relationship between Japan and Seychelles.

Also present for the farewell call at State House was the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Mr Sylvestre Radegonde, Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Vivianne Fock Tave and Director General Bilateral Affairs Division, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ms Lindy Ernesta.
