The President of the Republic, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Praslin Business Association (PBA) and Mr Achille Savy, a resident of the Baie Ste Anne community along with the Member of the National Assembly for Baie Ste Anne Hon. Churchill Gill, for the generous donation extended to Baie Ste Anne Hospital on Praslin during this time of crisis. 

A donation of various essential products and materials as well as refreshments was handed over to the hospital yesterday, by members of that Association, Mr Savy and Hon. Gill, amounting to the value of approximately 200 thousand Seychelles Rupees. The donation comprises of masks, disinfectants, washing machine among other items, which will help the health workers during their daily tasks. 

President Ramkalawan noted this gesture as a perfect example how associations and businesses in the community can join forces for the greater good of not only supporting their communities but the efforts of the country as a whole to face common challenges such the current COVID-19 pandemic affecting the nation.
