The Office of the President was this morning formally informed of the resignation of the Seychelles' Ambassador accredited to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Republic of Kenya, Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the African Union and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Mr. David Pierre effective 1st December 2020.

In a letter addressed to the Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Marina Confait, Ambassador Pierre expressed his gratitude to the government for having afforded him the opportunity to serve his country internationally. In accepting the resignation, the President thanked Ambassador Pierre for his contributions to the country.
