The President of the Republic, Mr Danny Faure will be attending the World Future Energy Summit 2020 from 12 to 14 January to be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The World Future Energy Summit is part of the largest sustainability gathering in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW). ADSW is dedicated to furthering country’s understanding of the major social, economic and environmental trends shaping the world’s sustainable development, and empowering the global community to realise viable and effective strategies to mitigate climate change.
Following his participation at the World Future Energy Summit 2020, the President will proceed on a 2 day State Visit at the invitation of the King of Bahrain, His Royal Highness King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa as part of efforts to further strengthen the long standing excellent bilateral ties between the two island nations.
Seychelles and Bahrain established diplomatic relations in May 1984.
The President will leave the country on 12 January and will be back in office on 17 January.
