President Danny Faure received Executive Members of Round Table Seychelles for a meeting at State House yesterday afternoon.
Comprised of a group of young male professionals working to make a difference in society, the meeting with the President presented the young men with an opportunity to brief the Head of State of their recent achievement of being recognized by Round Table International as the 'Most Outstanding Association of the Year in Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean Region’ for 2018/2019.
They also presented a brief overview of Regatta 2018 to 2019 and the status and concept for current and future project status of which they sought the President's view and inputs.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, the Association's President Mr Darrel Benoit thanked the President for making the time to meet and share his views. He also made a special mention to all their partners and public in general for their continous support for the fund raising contributions through the annual round table lottery.
He also had a special message for young male professionals to consider joining the Association and play a greater role for the betterment of the community.
