The First Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to the Republic of Seychelles, H.E. Ambassador Eric Franck Saizonou, presented his letter of accreditation to the President Faure during an accreditation ceremony held at State House this morning.
The President welcomed Ambassador Saizonou to Seychelles, expressing his sincere wish that relations between Benin will be taken to greater heights.
“Our wish is that our bilateral relations continue to develop. Your accreditation today is in this respect an excellent opportunity to revive and raise the level of our cooperation,” said President Faure
Areas of discussions with the President centred around topics such as the visa waiver agreement, tourism, agriculture, blue economy and youth employment strategies.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, Ambassador Saizonou affirmed that through his accreditation he is prepared to accelerate and elevate the level of cooperation between Seychelles and Benin.
Ambassador Saizonou will be based in Pretoria, South Africa.
