President Faure met with the Chairman of Seychelles Breweries Ltd, Mr Anthony Smith, during a courtesy call at State House this morning. Mr Smith was accompanied during his visit by the Managing Director of Seychelles Breweries Ltd., Mr Nick Cook.

The meeting was an opportunity for Mr Smith and Mr Cook to brief the President on the overall performance and general operation of the company.  They were also able to share information on ongoing and future projects being implemented and discuss ways in which Seybrew, a private company, can better partner with the government.

Topics discussed included the new alcohol measures and related education and awareness on responsible consumption of alcohol and a healthy lifestyle.
