President Danny Faure will be proceeding on overseas leave from 2nd to 4th December 2018.

As the Vice-President will also be on overseas mission in Japan during this period, and in accordance with Article 56 and Article 75 (4) of the Constitution of the Republic, the Designated Minister, Mrs Macsuzy Mondon, will hold the portfolios falling under the President and the Vice-President, and will also discharge any function that the President or the Vice-President is required to discharge under the Constitution, during their absence from the Republic.
