Nairobi, Kenya: Seychelles and Kenya are set to strengthen their partnership and collaborate further in the area of the Blue Economy.

President Danny Faure and the President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta, agreed on this priority area, which is also being given great importance at the first Global Conference on Sustainable Blue Economy, during bilateral talks held at Kenyatta International Convention Centre yesterday.

The two leaders, discussed other areas of mutual interests and reiterated the strong interest and unwavering commitment of both countries to further their develop relations and cooperation.

Following the fruitful bilateral talks, the two Presidents joined other Heads of States for a tree planting ceremony at the COMESA grounds.

President Faure and his delegation also attended a State Luncheon hosted by President Kenyatta.
