President Danny Faure has announced the appointment of the new Board Members of the Tertiary Education Commission.

The role of the Commission is to :

• recommend policies and  plans for the development of tertiary education
• advise the Minister on the preparation of further legislation on tertiary education

The appointment  takes effect on the  15th October 2018, for a 3-year period. Ms Monica Servina has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board and Ms Veronique Bresson as the Vice-Chairperson.

The other Members are

• Mr John Lesperence
• Ms Fiona Ernesta
• Ms Audrey Nanon
• Mr Guy Ferley

The President also thanked the Members of the outgoing Board for the valuable contribution they had made to the Tertiary Education Commission during their term of office.
