The President of the Republic, Mr Danny Faure, will join other world leaders at the upcoming 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
The theme of the general debate will be ‘Making the United Nations Relevant to All People: Global Leadership and Shared Responsibilities for Peaceful, Equitable and Sustainable Societies’. A number of events will take place in parallel to the opening of the 73rd session of the UNGA, including the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit.
President Faure will leave the country on 19 September 2018 and will be back in office on 28 September 2018.
