President Danny Faure has expressed his deepest condolences to the family and friends of Captain Pierre Grandcourt who passed away following a tragic accident today.

The President said that the country mourned at the loss of such an irreplaceable  professional in the maritime industry.  His thoughts and prayers were with all those afflicted by this tragedy.
