On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles, President Danny Faure has expressed his congratulations to H.E. Mr. Pedro Sánchez, following his appointment as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain.

In his message, President Faure remarked that Spain and Seychelles share a long history of cooperation which can be further strengthened during Prime Minister Sánchez’s mandate.

President Faure further noted that the Spanish Prime Minister's appointment is a reflection of the confidence that the Spanish people have in his ability to steer Spain above its emerging challenges.
