President James Michel has extended the condolences of the People and Government of Seychelles to the People and Government of the Republic of Maldives, following the passing away of the Maldivian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdul Samad Abdullah.

In a letter sent to his counterpart, the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Waheed, President Michel also extended his sincere condolences to the bereaved family of the late Minister and paid tribute to his distinguished service.
