President James Michel has sent a message of condolences to the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, following the bus accident that occurred in Mauritius earlier today:

“It is with deep sorrow that we have learnt of the tragic bus accident in Soreze, which caused the loss of so many lives and left many injured.In the wake of this tragedy, the Government and the People of Seychelles join me in expressing our heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters in Mauritius,” said the President.
