A trade delegation from the People’s Republic of China paid a courtesy call on President James A Michel yesterday at State House.

The delegation, headed by assistant Minister for Commerce, Mr Li Rongcan, is in Seychelles to exchange ideas on how to improve the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

According to Mr Li, his government is encouraging companies in China to invest in Seychelles.

The tourism industry in Seychelles is likely the main attraction for Chinese investors.
