Following the electoral victory of H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya, President Danny Faure has sent a congratulatory message on his personal behalf as well that of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles.
In his message, President Faure noted that President Kenyatta's electoral victory reflected the faith that the Kenyan people have in his vision and the in his commitment to ensure further prosperity and equal opportunity for all.
President Faure also stressed that he looked forward to building on the excellent relationship between the two countries and work together to enhance bilateral ties as well as promoting the interests of the African continent as a whole.
The Seychelles President also said that Kenya during President Kenyatta's renewed tenure would ensure that his country becomes a veritable power house in the region with boundless potential and would usher a time of greater unity and cooperation within the east Africa for the benefit of all peoples.
