President Danny Faure has sent a message of condolence to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, on behalf of the Government and people of Seychelles following the act terror perpetrated in London, United Kingdom claiming lives and injuring many others.
President Faure said that the Government of the Republic of Seychelles unreservedly condemns acts of violence aimed at instilling fear and terror in the lives of innocent people and also disrupts the stability of the country. "Seychelles stands in solidarity with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in this difficult period. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this vicious act of violence," said President Faure.
In his message, President Faure also commended the effective manner in which the police force and the emergency response agencies dealt with incident, maintaining calm amidst the chaos and urgency imposed by the callous attack. "It is our sincere hope that the perpetrators of this act may soon be identified and be brought to justice," noted the President.
