Cabinet approved amendments to the legal framework for the Joint management Area of Extended Continental Shelf in the Mascarenes plateau Region.
Cabinet approved for Seychelles to play an active role as member of the International Seabed Authority.
Cabinet also approved the National Policy for the Seychelles Marine Spatial Plan.
Cabinet approved Integrated Shoreline Management Plan for the North East Point Coastal zone.
Cabinet approved for the setting up of an organic cultivation programme in Seychelles.
Cabinet also approved policy changes to the Limited Partnership Act; the Foundations Act; the International Business Companies Act; and the new Trusts Bill.
Cabinet was briefed on the COVID -19 situation globally and locally. Cabinet also addressed pertinent issues in the re-opening of Seychelles to tourism.
