President Danny Faure chaired a scheduled meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday 16th October, at which a number of legal and policy memoranda were considered.
Cabinet approved a policy to manage and treat pregnant women and nursing mothers with opiod use disorder.
Cabinet approved the Lighting of Fires Restriction Bill 2019. The Bill will ensure proper lighting of fires are practised by individuals and provide for procedures and conditions for safe lighting of fires.
Cabinet also approved the Citizenship Review Exercise. The content of the White paper which will provide the basis for consultations was discussed and approved by Cabinet.
Cabinet approved amendment to the Tourism Development (Vertical Integration) Regulations. This new amendment will allow accommodation establishments on Praslin to own Car Hire operations.
