President Danny Faure met with a group of Human Resource Managers during a first meeting held at National House yesterday afternoon.
The meeting was chaired by President Faure, along with the Designated Minister, Minister for Home Affairs and Local Government, Mrs Macsucy Mondon and the Chief Secretary for the Department of Public Administration Ms Jessie Esparon.
This first session with all Human Resource Managers, is continuation of President Faure’s programme to enhance communication in government departments and agencies and to create platforms of discussion and consultation with key management personnel in organisations.
During the meeting, the President thanked the HR Managers for their hard work and contributions they are making and for making the time to attend the meeting.
He urged them to adopt a more proactive approach in embracing a more modern and people oriented work approach and to share best practices in order to make a difference that would in return bring the change we all would like to see not only for the respective organisations they represent but also for the country as a whole.
The meeting was also an opportunity for the managers to discuss and brief the President on some of the challenges being faced by Human Resources Departments and together suggest possible solutions.
