State House would like to alert members of the public to the dangers of sharing personal information or transferring money online. Several cases have been reported where citizens have lost money to fake Facebook profiles impersonating the President of the Republic, Mr Danny Faure.

State House would like to confirm that the President’s official verified page can be found at facebook.com/DannyARFaure. President Faure does not have a personal profile and does not engage in any private conversation with citizens over social media.

We urge members of the public to exercise caution when using social media; refrain from sharing any personal details online and disregard any requests for money. If a member of the public encounters requests for money through Facebook, kindly report the profile to the Facebook Team.
